| Man, oh man was it fun to watch the Cubs just tee off Tuesday night! I think the two deepest home runs I've ever seen hit at Wrigley Field happened within the last week or so, both by Sosa! That cannon shot blast OVER the camera hut in center was incredible, especially considering it was hit at night, with little to no wind. If Sammy did that in a day game in mid-July with the wind blowing out, who knows IF it would've landed! Tonight is Game 3 of the NLCS with the Florida Marlins. They have to play in that hole of a baseball stadium, Pro Player. Great football stadium, horrible baseball stadium. I hope the Cubs hand the Marlines their asses. Whoops! I said a naughty word, didn't I? Pudge is driving me nuts. A lesser fan would want to see Pudge get injured or something, but not me. I want to see him choke. I want to see him buckle under the pressure. If he goes down injured, then the Cubs will advance to the World Series winning against a team that wasn't at its best. If the Cubs go, I want to see them genuinely win it. |
