As you may have noticed, a few things changed overnight:
New "Skin" I made a new "skin" for the Torino Olympics in 2006, so it only seemed appropriate that I give the Beijing games the same treatment. Since my original Photoshop template for the site remains on that fried hard drive of mine, I had to start from scratch. I'm pretty happy with what I've thrown together. It will remain in place through August 24th, the last day of the Olympics.
New Videos Section I'd hoped to get some more videos put in there, but it didn't happen. Sorry. There are a couple up there that have largely served as my YouTube tests. Things work surprisingly well. As I add something to YouTube, it automatically shows up in this new Videos section within about 5 minutes. Even I think that's cool.
New Font If you have Windows Vista, or are like me and have found yourself with one of its new fonts in Windows XP, you'll likely notice the use of the Segoe UI font. If you don't have this font, you'll still see Verdana, just like always.
Publicly-Browsable Jokes Archive The Jokes Archive has been available for quite a while, but I always required your e-mail address to look through it. As long as you were signed up to receive the jokes, you could browse the archive. I decided that this "closed door" policy to something so silly was ... well, silly. Enjoy.
Minor Tweaks There are a bunch of other little minor things that have been changed, some "behind the scenes" and some not, a lot of which will likely go unnoticed.
Feel free to leave a comment on the changes. I'd like to get a legitimate one, for a change. It's a little discouraging to only get spam comments...
