Fourmile Creek at Des Moines Easton Blvd affecting Polk County.
WHAT: Moderate flooding is forecast.
WHERE: The Fourmile Creek at Des Moines Easton Blvd, or from below Interstate 80 to the Des Moines River.
WHEN: From late tonight to early tomorrow afternoon.
IMPACTS: At 14.0 feet, Widespread flooding occurs along the reaches of the creek primarily upstream from Easton Blvd near the Hubbell overpass. Water affects lowland areas of the community center near Easton Blvd.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: - At 8:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 5.3 feet. - Forecast... The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 14.1 feet late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
